Design & Development
PAYER’s unique selling point lies in its many years of expertise in designing and developing high-quality electronic and mechanical equipment and components. As well as components and modules for industrial applications, we have acquired detailed consumer product expertise from our core business which enables us to meet the high standards required of these items.
Our group design centre in Austria uses networked CAD/CAM workstations supported by the latest design software such as CatiaV5.
- Prototype construction
We use 3D printers, pattern spraying machines and vacuum-cast parts technology for in-house production of commercial and functional prototypes.
- Testing equipment
All sites have a wide range of product-specific testing equipment, and standard items such as climatic chambers, lifecycle test benches, leak and drop testers, and salt spray testers. The design departments at the Hungary and China sites work closely with their colleagues in Austria, and PAYER also maintains a long-term competitive advantage by collaborating with university research facilities.
